It’s not everyday that you get to bring horses to the beach for a photo shoot! Engaged couple Abby and Lucas are rodeo sweethearts, and because their horses are such a huge part of their life we thought it would be perfect to tie them into the shoot. When they said their horses could travel to the beach, we were thrilled! They have known each other since they were little and when they were in high school, they were Rodeo King and Rodeo Queen together. They have been friends for most of their lives, and the friendship turned romance led to a proposal, and next month they will become man and wife. We could not have asked for a more beautiful sunset for this amazing engagement session opportunity. The pink and blue sky seemed too surreal as we waited for the sun to set. We then headed over to Fort Pickens where the aging brick and peeling paint of the civil war bunker gives the photography a timeless feeling.
