There is hardly a more serene location for a wedding in South Louisiana than Nottoway Plantation, the largest plantation in the South and one of Louisiana’s premier locations for weddings. Chrissy and Dan had their extremely classy wedding on the front lawn of the White Castle, LA plantation on August 7, 2010. Following the ceremony I chased the fading light into the edge of the sugar cane field and took some photos of the newlywed couple that will go down into my “Nottoway favorites” folder. The night ended with an epic Second Line out onto the lawn of the plantation. Such a fun wedding party, mostly from Florida.
Enjoy the slideshow, and as always, please post your feedback. I love to hear from you.
Special thanks to Tina Rodosta, owner of the fabulous Bridal Beauty Consulting makeup company based in Baton Rouge, for providing makeup services for the bride and wedding party. Check out the link I provided for her website.

Bravo!! Belisimo!!!
Aaron – you have captured the spirit of this wedding perfectly! Joy & tears mingle, silliness dance through the evening, sliding into hope & happiness. VERY tastefully done – especially during the ceremony. These were SO worth waiting for!!
Christy, the MOG
