There is not another city that knows how to celebrate more than The Crescent City “New Orleans“. If you are looking to have a destination wedding, New Orleans provides a creative, soulful experience. This post features photos that display the art of the second line brass band parade which is a Mardi Gras tradition. Most Louisiana weddings incorporate the tradition into their festivities. A recent Eye Wander Photo wedding couple, Laura and Justin Owens hired Kinfolk Brass Band to second line from the Cabildo Museum where their wedding ceremony was held in the French Quarter, to their reception at LaTrobes on Royal street. The guests followed behind the couple dancing to the brass band music while waving handkerchiefs in the air. Of course, in the other hand the guests are holding cocktails because that is the way we roll down south in the The Big Easy.

Mark (Louisiana Native) and Jennifer had their wedding in New York City a the Tribeca Rooftop and they loved the New Orleans second line tradition so much that they decided to hire and brass band Lucky Chops and have the parade at their wedding. As you will see it was quite and hit with the guests. They danced the night away.
