Eye Wander Photography is Raw Beauty Defined. Here in Natchez, MS with Marlana Firmin, for our first stop, we went to two beautiful Antebellum homes, Stanton Hall and the nationally registered historic place of “Arlington”. We see a great physical representation of finding beauty out of ashes at the Arlington home because sadly, it burned down in 2002. The remains are a phenomenal haven for photographers. The beauty that Marlana brought to these photos and the light that flooded in the windows of Stanton Hall and the texture of the burned building of Arlington was so spectacular and made this shoot a joy to do.
Later, we traveled back over into the motherland of Louisiana, specifically to the GPS coordinates of 31.606957,-91.668806. (Yes, I am THAT detailed of a photographer) That is the code for the Frogmore Cotton Plantation of Frogmore, LA. We then finished our shoot in Montpelier, LA in a lovely horse pasture with tall, un-mowed grass and beautiful horses. Tall grass plus horses plus sun plus a beautiful bride equals for a splendid day of unequaled photos. Thanks to Marlana and the owners of these amazing homes and beautiful land for allowing me to find and document raw beauty in these breathtaking places. Enjoy these beautiful bridals!
