On October 13, 2024, Jessica Richardson and Brycen Brown celebrated their Christ-centered wedding in the heart of New Orleans. When two souls deeply rooted in faith come together to celebrate their love, you can feel it in every detail of the day. Their wedding at the historic Marché Wedding and Event Venue was filled with joy, devotion, and unforgettable moments that reflected not only their love for one another but their devotion to Jesus, their Lord and Savior.
Getting Ready in the Heart of New Orleans
Jessica spent her wedding morning in the River Suite at The Westin New Orleans overlooking the Mississippi River. Surrounded by her maid of honor and sister, Kaelyn, the room was filled with excitement, prayers, and laughter. The bridal details glowed against the light streaming through the suite windows, setting the stage for Jessica’s timeless bridal portraits.
Just a few blocks away, Brycen and his groomsmen, including his best man Josh, gathered at the TN Williams Suite at Hotel Monteleone. Known for its history and charm, Hotel Monteleone provided the perfect backdrop for classic groom portraits. The guys shared prayers and words of encouragement before boarding the bus to the ceremony.
A Christ-Centered Ceremony at Marché
The ceremony took place at Marché Wedding and Event Venue (914 N Peters St, New Orleans, LA). The couple chose this stunning space in the French Quarter not only for its beauty but for its ability to host both the ceremony and reception seamlessly. Their wedding ceremony was a sacred celebration, highlighted by communion as they centered their vows around their faith.
Jessica and Brycen also chose to do a first look, a private and emotional moment that allowed them to share their love before walking down the aisle. This decision meant their formal portraits were beautifully captured ahead of the ceremony, giving them more time to enjoy the celebration with family and friends.
Cocktail-Style Reception & Old Car Exit
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with views of the French Quarter while we captured romantic portraits of the newlyweds. Jessica and Brycen’s reception was a cocktail-style celebration, filled with dancing, laughter, and heartfelt toasts from friends and family. Their first dance was a highlight, setting the tone for a joyful evening. The night ended with a touch of classic New Orleans charm: the couple exited in a vintage car, waving goodbye to their loved ones as they began their new journey together.
A Marriage Built on Faith
Jessica and Brycen’s wedding day wasn’t just about stunning details and lively celebration—it was about their unshakable love for each other and for Jesus. Their union is a reflection of their commitment not only as husband and wife but as partners in faith. Jessica and Brycen’s day was filled with unforgettable moments, and it was such a joy to capture their story. Their love, their laughter, and their faith made this wedding one we’ll never forget.
