The gardens of White Oak Estate provided a perfect backdrop for the wedding of Hester Dornan and Seth Lemoine Jan. 10, 2020. An overhead chandelier and lanterns lighting the outdoor pavilion’s makeshift aisle cast a soft glow as the two exchanged vows before friends and family.
The two met as students at LSU and got engaged vacationing in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
“He managed to hide the ring until the last day of our vacation,” says Hester. “We were sitting on the balcony of the hotel. He pulled out the ring and asked, ‘Wanna get married?’ I made him get down on one knee and ask properly.”
What did she expect from the guy who does the Pee-Wee Herman “Tequila” dance in the kitchen while she cooks dinner?
