Newborn through one year baby sessions are among my top favorite types of sessions. I usually work with past wedding clients documenting the birth and first year of their baby and I know of no more joy than that of a brand new parent. So baby photography for me is all about capturing joy. And let me say that’s exactly what little Caroline of Houston, Texas (affectionately known as “C”) brought the Verrette and Frederick families. Having been the videographer for parents Aimee and Cody’s La Jolla, CA wedding (just outside San Diego) back in October 2009, they discovered my photography during the process and hired me for their baby’s first year session.
I traveled back and forth to Houston for most of Caroline’s sessions, with one of them (maternity) being done in my Baton Rouge studio.
