“Best friends,” “the definition of partners” – that is how Nancy Gay describes her and Devin Thibodeaux’s relationship. They both grew up in the small town of Plaquemine but didn’t really know other until a mutual friend worked her magic and got the two together. Devin popped the question in October 2020 while they were on a lobster dive in Key Largo; the two enjoy hunting and fishing together. They exchanged wedding vows before friends and family April 24 at the Gay family’s St. Louis Plantation. It was all captured by Eye Wander Photo, which earlier a month earlier photographed the wedding of Nancy’s brother John and Jan Lanoue.
Nancy is the daughter of Lynelle and Price Gay; Devin is the son of Jacqueline and Stan Thibodeaux. She works as a heart and vascular surgery RN at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Regional Medical Center. He is an operations advisor at Dow Chemical.
