Dru Powell | Episcopal High school senior model 2016 | Senior Photography | Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Dru Powell is a sweet spirited girl and we are so excited to have her as our senior model for 2016.  She attends Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is light hearted and has a grace about her that you will see in her photos.  Dru has been swimming competitively for seven years, and said that her favorite experience in her life so far has been winning 3 state championships with the best swim team ever!  She loves swimming so much she teaches in her free time at Crawfish Aquatics. We look forward to doing her underwater photoshoot in the future.

She loves vintage clothing, she is wearing a fabulous gamecock garnet vintage dress from her grandmother’s closet the in the photo below.  Dru said that she loved the photoshoot because Aaron made her feel comfortable and at ease. Her favorite shot is of her running and twirling down the hill because it was freeing and she loves artsy pictures.

Dru is very well rounded, not only is she an athlete, she is in student vestry and select choir. She also attends St. Aloysius youth group. One of her favorite foods is sushi and says that the best in Baton Rouge is at Sushi Masa on Essen Lane. Her favorite sushi roll at Sushi Masa is the Bubba Gump roll.

She plans on attending college in the fall of 2016 and studying engineering. She has been looking at schools this past summer and her first choice is University of South Carolina honors college. When I asked her about all the math that she would have to take for engineering, she smiled and said, “I love math”.  We can’t wait to see what exciting future lies ahead for this bright and shining model. Watch out world, her she comes!!!
