What’s better than being in New Orleans as a photographer? Photographing the cutest Matherne Twins’ senior photos simultaneously. I’ve developed quite a close relationship to the Matherne family and in September I photographed them throughout the city beginning on Tulane Ave. ending in the Warehouse District. High school seniors are one of my favorite subjects to photograph because during these sessions I totally let loose and find the wildest, dirtiest, most colorful locations around. It’s in these environments that the best pictures are made. Oh and I’m able to wear my orange tennis shoes.
Meet Mallary, Miranda and their little sister Malayne. Your comments are welcomed.

According to their mother, this image totally captures each of the sisters' personalities. Miranda in charge, Malayne standing up to her, and Mallary just hanging back in the background letting the others have the center stage.

Miranda died when she finally found a field in which to be photographed. This is all she wanted for her senior photos.

So happy in her field.
