Herb and Heather, an engaged couple who having a New Orleans wedding April 9, 2010 in the French Quarter at the New Orleans Ritz Carlton, share a love of both Louisiana and Texas, having homes in both Hammond, LA and Galveston, TX. During the planning of their engagement session, Herb, an avid pilot and owner of a super fast Mooney Ovation 2 single engine prop plane, offered to fly my assistant and I to his Galveston home for the engagement photos. How exciting!
Galveston and New Orleans have very much in common, such as The Strand of Galveston. It’s so similar in architecture to New Orleans’ French Quarter. The art galleries, ice cream parlors, wrought iron gates and railings, the bold colors of the walls, peeling paint, etc. Talk about a photographer’s field day. Enjoy the photos and feel free to leave feedback on the slideshow.
