Latrobe’s | New Orleans wedding photography | Mary & Mark 10.10.10

October 10, 2010, probably the busiest wedding day of the year in the US, I was fortunate not only to photograph my new favorite top New Orleans wedding venue Latrobe’s On Royal, but also capture the essence of a newlywed couple who couldn’t be more perfect for each other. Mary and Mark, currently living in...

Mary Cathell - Aaron, our wedding photographs were one of the most important elements of our wedding.  We wanted/needed someone special not just someone that understands the technical aspects of photography but an artist.  Without question we found that with you.
Art should create emotion and for an artist to accomplish this goal he must give of himself and show the world what he sees. I have viewed this astonishing slideshow several times and each time I find new details and new tears of joyfulness fill my eyes. Aaron, you put your heart and soul into our wedding, it is a gift we will cherish for a life time.

Mark - Aaron,

Your work so elequently captures the spirit of the day; your kind words capture the spirit of our young marriage.

While this montage lasts ten minutes, it goes by as quick as the day did. We are so happy to have this preserved like no one else could have; so happy to have details that we caught that we can only confirm with your work.

You managed to capture some of what we missed in the whirlwind of being with each other, along with the very spirit of what it means to have publically comitted to a lifetime together. There are so many emotional moments: a first dance, a touching tribute, a toast, a family, friends, and what was certainly a room full of love. These photos are more than just pictures, they are a reminder of where we have come from and our plans for the future. The story they tell gives a glimpse of more than just a single day – they show hope in the eyes of a child, tears of joy in the eyes of a mother, excitement of a bride and groom as they stare into each others eyes and realize that this really did just happen.

I type here with a beautiful wife beside me, tears of joy in her eyes:  a present that you have unknowingly provided.

Thank you for putting so much heart into your work.

Mark

Jeanne Cathell -
Aaron,
You certainly captured Mary and Mark’s magical wedding into a magical video. The video transported me right back to the celebration and made me smile for 10 straight minutes. Simple a phenomenal piece of works. “ Thanks for the memories” . It was an enchanted wedding and your work has made it possible for us to enjoy it time and again.

Oak Alley Plantation wedding photography | Page & Jonathan wedding 9.25.10

For my very first time at Oak Alley Plantation to photograph a wedding, September 25, 2010 was certainly a wet one. The rain added a fine mist over the plantation grounds and also into the hair and clothes of everyone. Despite the rain up until literally an hour before the ceremony, Page and Jonathan Wyrick,...
